This loaded 1979 Ford F-150 Ranger Lariat 4×4 lived in California and Nevada until we brought it back to North Carolina in June of this year. The truck is loaded with options but some significant ones include Sport steering wheel, quad shocks, heavy-duty shocks, power steering, and of course the Ranger Lariat Package.

This F-150 is powered by its original 351 V8 backed by a 4 Speed manual transmission and NP205 part time 4×4 transfer case. It runs and drives and drives well. New chrome wagon wheels are fit with new Falken Rubitrek AT tires.

The Ranger Lariat specific interior is in good shape! The tan vinyl and cloth bench seat is all original and in good shape overall with a few minor imperfections, it’s flanked by original tan carpet and all original instrumentation. All gauges and warning lights work. It has the original AM radio and it works. The original door panels and lariat specific headliner are in good shape.

The truck is finished in its original Walnut Glow over Medium Copper and mostly original paint but has had some touch up spots over the years as expected with a truck of this vintage. The truck has an awesome patina to it but does have some small scratches and bumps to it as you would expect for an unrestored truck body that’s 44 years old. The photos do a great job of showing the exterior condition. All the lights work.
