Summary

Firehouse Vintage Vehicles is seeking an experienced technician to join our team. The Assembly Technician performs all tasks involved in the production of the company’s products. The position follows standard work methods and practices safe working habits.

Key Job Elements (Essential Functions Performed):

  • Disassemble and reassemble classic vehicles
  • Diagnose and report mechanical issues
  • Fabrication to accommodate late-model engine and transmission packages
  • Replace suspension and braking systems
  • Research and request parts in a timely manner to maintain workflow
  • Gapping and modification of exterior panels to maintain consistent fit
  • Replace interior components
  • Final assembly of entire vehicle once bodywork and paint is complete
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications (Education/Experience required):

  • Results-oriented with sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.
  • Has their own tools
  • Has time-management skills to complete deadline sensitive projects.
  • Team player and able to work independently on projects.
  • Knowledge of best business practices.
  • Strong manufacturing industry knowledge.
  • High School Diploma Required
  • At least five years of mechanical/assembly experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of late model engine platforms such as GM LS and Ford Coyote

Physical Requirements:

The team member is occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance, and stoop, kneels, crouch or crawl, use hands to feel objects and type on keyboard or work controls/tools. The team member must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
