Description

This 1969 Ford Bronco Sport finished in iconic Boxwood Green over parchment interior, was ordered by the owner of C.C. Card Ford of Cleveland Tennessee on September 10th 1969, built on October 1st of the same year then shipped to Africa to be used as a hunting rig by his family.

The Bronco returned to the states in September of 1969 and was sold to it’s first actual owner on September 22nd and has remained in his ownership until now. The Marti report included in the gallery below lists all the Broncos options but some notable ones include skid plates, increased capacity radiator, swing away tire carrier, rocker moldings and of course the Sport Package.

This Bronco is powered by its original 302 V8 backed by a 3 Speed Manual transmission. Aftermarket intake, carb and valve covers were fit about 15 years ago. The front axle and limited slip Ford 9” rear are fit with 4.11 gears. All 4 road going tires were replaced with new BFG K02 All Terrain tires 500 miles ago.

The body is in good shape overall, all panels are original. The exterior of the Bronco still wears its Boxwood Green Paint (One of 1735 in this color). It had paint work on the left side from an incident in Africa, per the original owner the paint work was limited to the fender and door. Both doors have tiny surface rust spots starting at the rear corner. There is dings, dents and a very cool patina throughout the Bronco. The hood features a really cool looking round patina burn. The front floors have been patched at some point in life, but the bronco is very solid overall. The removable top has a great patina. All trim shows well, lights work ect.

The factory parchment interior is in excellent shape. The seats have been redone and show very well. The door panels have also been replaced. The factory dash pad does not show any cracks or wear. All the factory gauges, lights and controls work as they should.

This is a great Bronco you can either enjoy as is or is the perfect candidate for a patina build, it turns heads everywhere it goes!
